We have been working in West Norfolk to create a Carers Community Network. The aim of the network is to increase awareness of Carers and the support available to improve Carers health and wellbeing and reduce isolation. Since the closure of West Norfolk Carers, it was more important that ever to ensure Carers in the West Norfolk area have access to the support they need.
We have been working to bring together local organisation and services to build a stronger, more connected network for Carers in West Norfolk.

Carers Voice held a Carers Wellness and Information Event in Kings Lynn on 30th October. This was an open event for unpaid Carers of all ages including Parent Carers and Young Carers. The Carers Wellness and Information event was centred on providing Carers of all ages, including Parent Carers and Young Carers the opportunity to focus on their wellness and have a crucial break from their caring role as well as accessing local support. Three Wellness Therapists attended to provide free taster hand reflexology, seated Indian head massage and foot reflexology. Local organisations attended to share information about a range of support in the local area.
We have created a document with information about the organisations.
