About The Project
The Carers’ Community Network project has enabled Carers Voice to create a bank of localised organisations, who regularly connect with Carers. The project originally focused on Carers living in East Norfolk & Waveney and has just expanded to include West Norfolk.
The aim of the network is to reduce Carers’ isolation, increase Carers’ opportunities and overcome barriers Carers may face. Carers Voice intend to do this by sharing information with these organisations for them to pass on to Carers which they interact with during their daily operations.
Purpose of the mailing list;
– Connect organisations and groups based in the East Norfolk & Waveney and West Norfolk areas
– Raise awareness of Carers and the support available within the local areas
– Share information about local activities and events organised by network organisations
– To be invited to attend East Norfolk & Waveney and West Norfolk based Carer Involvement Meetings.
– Ask for advice, contributions and feedback from network members
– Be kept up to date with local and national developments
– Learn from and share successes
– Be reminded about specific Carer dates for your diary such as Carers Rights Day, Carers Week and Young Carers action day
